Miguel Casillas

overview

Snark Busters: High Society, the third entry in the Snark Busters series, is a steampunk Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure that combines narrative progression, environmental exploration, and a wide variety of puzzle-driven interactions.

A gameplay programming role centered on minigame implementation and cross-discipline collaboration.
Working within the Stargaze Framework in C++, Miguel was responsible for building a set of minigames that supported the pace, variety, and structure of the broader adventure.

Coded 6 mini-games: His work contributed to a game spanning 5 chapters, 27 locations, and 11 minigames, making puzzle gameplay a meaningful part of the overall experience.

Cross-Discipline collaboration: By working across disciplines (programmers, artists, designers, QA), he was able to translate design requirements into polished gameplay while iterating efficiently with internal testers.

The project was an important early milestone, giving Miguel experience shipping gameplay systems in a larger studio environment while reinforcing the communication and technical adaptability that would continue to shape his later work.
